There was a lot of tension leading up to this show, as word from an earlier tour date suggested a DOOM imposter would be taking the stage. Mosdef had already cancelled, and the crowd waited anxiously for DOOM. Then as the clock neared midnight, a masked crusader took the stage as the crowd held their breath. Once the undeniable cadence and flow of Mr. Dumile was heard, a collective sigh of relief filled the room. DOOM was in fine form for what would be his final Toronto show.
